Happy Year of the Rooster Everyone. It's supposed to be a good one (better than last year anyway). I watched this crazy special on the Zodiac on Animal Planet. It was crazy cause they had 12 people, one from each sign on the show and they kinda just had them there. They kept going back and forth from the Chinese interpretation of the animal, the actual animal, and the person sometimes acting like the animal. That was creepy cause grown people shouldn't act like animals. It was pointless since I knew almost everything they said about each animal cause my mom is a voodoo (spelling?) queen. Last year my horoscope said I was going to get in a water accident. So she said I had to have surgery and all those illnesses to keep me out of the water (and water parks, most likely water world which would have been my end of the summer trip) so I wouldn't drown and die. Well thank goodness for getting sick, right? Since my mother believes so much in the Chinese Zodiac, she kinda has me conviced. My luck chart made me crack up so much. But you had to be there and live my life to understand so I won't even begin to explain.
Also, I just kinda noticed it was Chinese New Year (bc of the special on Animal Planet and) because the Chinese people on MySpace message boarded it. I feel so unChinese. But this year we actually "celebrated" the New Years eve- like you're supposed to. Like all the daughters come home even when like in China they aren't supposed to leave their house. -Paraphrasing from my dad's explanation of New Year's eve dinner. We had my dad's family over (part of it) and we never eat with them, let alone invite them to our house. So it should feel like a holiday right?...Getting together with family you try so hard to avoid (in my mother and my case). Somehow it didn't feel so much like Chinese New Year since we had garlic bread and steak. "Just like my Chinese grandmother used to make!" as my mom would say.

Don't ask...It's not a link.  I've kinda moved to MySpace.

Happy Rooster,
Jacqueline

Dear Xanga,

I have nothing to say.  Writer's workshop is a great class.  Today's journal entry was "Someone or something I left behind".  Anyway, it's just a wonderful class and time passed so quickly.  I cannot wait until Friday.

I'm using a little silver American Express 2005 planner now.  I feel so grown up... No adult carries around a big ass planner.

Lovidad,

Jacqueline

I just found out what sensibility means.  I mean that I looked it up.  My vocabulary is really horrendous.

Mr. Brady was lovely (as usual) and arranged with me so I could get all 10 credits just in his class.  So instead of attending school everyday for 1 1/2 hours, I only have to go every other day for 1 1/2 hours.  The downside is that one and a half hours starts at 8 AM.  But I'm not complaining.

We ate corned beef for dinner.  I love corned beef.

I have so much to do andI have no intention of doing any of it.

Off  to Gilmore Girls,

Jacqueline
